Electrophoretically homogeneous.
In 3.2 M ammonium sulphate.
Specific activity: approx. 240 U/mg (40°C, pH 4.5, soluble starch as substrate).
Contaminants: amyloglucosidase < 0.08%; xylanase 0.0001%; cellulase 0.02%.
Stable at 4°C for > 4 years.
As used in Megazyme Starch Damage method.
